<div>Funeral services for Syble Katherine Lindsey, 97, of Alto will be Saturday, December 21, at 10 AM in the O.T. Allen &amp; Son Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Zak Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Palestine Cemetery. There will be a visitation Friday, December 20, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Lindsey passed away Tuesday, December 17, in Rusk.&nbsp;</div><div>She was born April 18, 1927 to Jessie Roy Palmer and Willie Legg Palmer. She lived most of her life in Alto and was a member of the Assembly of God church. Katherine loved gardening and working in the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting as well. She had worked as a welder for Custom Coil in Jacksonville, Wing Archery in Jacksonville and Indian Mound Nursery near Alto.&nbsp;</div><div>Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jewel H. Lindsey; son James Roy Lindsey; brothers: Billy Rush Palmer, Roy Lee Palmer, Norman Palmer and Carroll Palmer and sisters: Betty Jo Hammond, Opal Lindsey and Lavonne Palmer.&nbsp;</div><div>She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jewel Dean and Tammy Lindsey of Palestine; brother Harold Palmer of Whitehouse; grandchildren: Michael Lindsey and wife Sherry and Michelle Lindsey; great grandchildren Cory Hogan, Keyslen Roberts, Victoria High and Vidareous High; as well as 7 great great grandchildren.&nbsp;</div><div>Pallbearers are Michael Lindsey, Cory Hogan, Vidareous High, Keyslen Roberts, Stanley Palmer and Terry Lindsey.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>
