<div>Funeral services for Mildred Ward Hataway, 85, of Gallatin, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday,<br>November 16, 2024, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Bro. Cobey May officiating.<br>She will be laid to rest at Henry Cemetery in Gallatin.<br>Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Autry Funeral Home in<br>Jacksonville.<br>Mildred was born to Luther Ward and Hazel George Ward in Jacksonville and passed away on<br>November 5, 2024, in Quitman.<br>Mildred dedicated over 20 years to her role in administration at Rusk State Hospital, showcasing<br>her commitment and hard work. Outside of her professional life, she was a skilled seamstress,<br>lovingly sewing clothes for her children, barbie doll outfits and beautiful wedding and prom<br>dresses. Mildred’s love for nature shone through her vibrant flower garden, and she found<br>particular joy in watching birds, especially cardinals, visit her yard.<br>Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Edward Hataway; brothers,<br>Noel and J. L. Ward; son, Wendell Scot Hataway, and son-in-law, Stephen Stone.<br>Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pamela Folkman and husband, Doug, of Holly<br>Lake Ranch, Teresa Stone of Lewisville and Sharla Parton and husband, Lonny, of Fort Worth;<br>son, Cam Hataway and wife, Carla, of Kerens; sisters, Linda Price and Deborah Dopson of<br>Quitman; grandchildren, Charlie Harris and wife, Kim, Brandi Fleming and husband, Robert,<br>Emily Redlinger and husband, A.J., Kameron Hataway, Alison Tomita and husband, Darryl,<br>Triniti Hataway and Morgan Hataway; many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and<br>nephews.<br>Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at<br>www.donate.cancer.org or National Down Syndrome Society @ www.ndss.org</div>
